Our client are an exciting start up within the UK energy technology and supply space, they are seeking an ambitious Senior Business Development Manager to join their team.
The Business Development Manager will lead SME and Commercial and Industrial customer acquisition mainly in the private sector.
Areas of responsibility include:
- Own, manage and develop the acquisition pipeline to drive customer growth and revenue through direct client acquisition and indirect broker sales.
- Work with the customer and/or broker to raise the understanding of how electrical and other assets can provide demand flexibility and engage with the Operations, Engineering and Finance teams to model the unique benefits of our client’s technology.
The successful candidate will have a track record of applying technical and commercial skills in design of demand side management systems. In addition, you must have a knowledge of both tender processes and flexible energy supply contracts. You will also have a proven track record of sales and delivering results through networking and building relationships with multiple stakeholders.
The role will be based in their central London office. The salary is up to £55,000 basic with an excellent bonus, employee share scheme, and other great benefits.
