Around 180,000 tonnes of unrecyclable municipal waste will be converted into power
It will help divert 90% of all council waste and use it to generate enough electricity to power more than 26,000 homes a year
The projects are expected to divert more than a million tons of waste from landfill
Privilege Finance says the investment is linked to the Renewable Heat Incentive scheme, which offer payments for biomethane injected into the grid
