Nearly £250 million will be spent on the construction of these projects
The projects are designed to have a combined capacity of more than 71MW
The deal will see an estimated £3.4 billion worth of green energy projects added to Octopus Energy’s portfolio
Once commissioned, the project is predicted to generate enough energy to power 30,000 homes
The partnership has already contracted more than £10m worth of projects and focuses on rooftop solar and private ground-mount systems
The loan facility is forecast to fund the construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the 24MW wind project
The firm has today announced the acquisition of the investment group Octopus Renewables
The portfolio involves nine projects north of Rome and eight on the island of Sardinia
The construction of the 24MW wind project is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2022
