Our client are an international leading energy company, who are entering the residential energy market across England, Scotland and Wales. Delivering a digital first approach, the business will focus on building innovative energy products and services for their customers.

Initially they wish to recruit an experienced Energy Marketing Specialist to work in a dynamic, commercial and customer focussed team at the beginning of building our GB Supply Business. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the implementation of segmented communications plans to support the achievement of brand and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement marketing plans to support the achievement of our objectives
  • Ownership of all digital marketing campaigns (SEO, social, display) including identifying target customers, creating and executing campaigns, ongoing performance measurement and taking corrective action where required to achieve agreed targets
  • Develop and manage the execution of updates to all branded material and key customer collateral including banners, Welcome Packs, Price Plans and Terms & Conditions
  • Support the business in gaining and retaining market share
  • Extract insight from customer research/segmentation analysis to support meaningful differentiation in customer communications and ensure delivery of planned customer experiences
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on Electric Ireland’s segmented marketing performance and key campaigns as required
  • Ensure brand consistency across communications

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proven ability driving effective and innovative digital marketing campaigns to achieve sales marketing objectives
  • Experience with creative applications such as Adobe suite
  • Excellent copywriting / presentation skills
  • A high level of creative thinking and a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Ability to clearly and concisely gather, interpret, analyse and document information
  • High levels of enthusiasm, commitment and energy requiredExperience working in UX/ UI roles desirable
