McLean Ross are currently partnered with a leading smart energy technology company who are developing technologies that are designed from a user centric approach. Their hardware and software are simple, optimising energy consumption through their smart technologies. They are a young, dynamic and diverse company who have a Global presence which is going from strength to strength. We are looking for an experienced, innovative new business hunter who will push partnerships across Europe.
As a Senior Business Development Manager you will be at the forefront of their solution sales channel. You will lead on the development of sales within the utilities and/ or OEM’s industry. Furthermore you will analyse markets and develop long standing business partnerships within Europe. This position is a new business development role however, you will be tasked with growing and developing the channel and team.
- We are looking for a new business hunter who has a proven track record selling to utilities or telecoms
- You will have a minimum of 7 years and have a strong background in either energy/ smart technology or connected products.
- You will have a strong entrepreneurial flare and be willing to push the business forward.
- Have a strong drive to succeed/ win business along with a strong ability to influence key decision makers
- Have a strong interest in the industry specifically connecting technologies
- Fluency in English is a must, other European languages is a benefit
