The Delivery Director of Hinkley Point C, Nigel Cann, has shared a new update on the progress of the nuclear power station project.
The latest footage shows developments over the last few months, with construction entering new phases and around 8,000 workers currently on site.
Among the milestones achieved is the completion of the first reactor building, now standing at 34 metres tall and the delivery of the reactor pressure vessel, which is 13 metres long.
The project is expected to play a crucial role in the UK’s efforts to ensure energy security, generating electricity for six million homes alongside wind and solar power.
