Ofgem, which oversees the UK gas and electricity markets, has increasingly been given responsibilities in relation to other areas, particularly the country’s energy supply and decarbonisation
They are likely to examine how net zero targets can be met through the development of renewable energy in Scotland and the technologies that would best serve the country
It will look for potential opportunities for development and deployment of renewable energy in Wales and how Cardiff and Westminster should work together to support them
The Environmental Audit Committee is inviting written submissions until 18th December 2020
